Grade 12 School Photo

This was my school picture in my Grade 12 year. The frames of my classes were indestructible. Those frames still show up eight years later in the school picture taken during my first year at Gordon Bell. The cowlick at the right in this picture was the bane of my mother's existence. I didn't care about it but she went to great lengths to find some product that would make it lie down. She never succeeded. The problem was solved a few years later when the Beatles arrived on the scene. Until then society insisted that men could not let hair down over their forehead. Bangs were only for women. Once I let hair down over my forehead the cowlick disappeared.
