Party at the Headmaster's House

In my book I describe a wonderful party held at the headmaster's house in 1976 honouring all the students who did well in the Junior Math Contest. About 35 honour roll students and their parents were invited. The headmaster, John Schaffter, had honour roll certificates made up for all the students. Andrew Gellman, who was the individual Canadian Champion was presented with an engraved beer mug. (A little irony there -- as a boarding student he was not supposed to be caught drinking). Don Johnson and I, as coaches , also received engraved beer mugs. Here Desmond Smith, representing the Board of Governors, is shaking my hand. John Schaffter is standing behind us, about to present me with my engraved mug.
