This was the science lab in the Dominion City School. What had once been a classroom was divided in two with one half becoming a library and the other a lab. In this picture you can see the plywood partition that separated the two rooms. Even though this photo was taken in 1965, a picture of King George VI is still hanging on the far wall. The Grade Eleven room, however, was even more out of date. There a picture of George V was hanging almost 30 years after the end of his reign.
